Vietnam – UK Network members meet for discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung

On 25th April, Ben Chapman, Chairman of the Vietnam-UK Network hosted a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minster and the network.

The Vietnam-UK Network executive committee told Deputy PM Dung that the organisation will continue to work to connect businesses, hold exchanges and  promote Vietnam’s image, thus fostering cooperation between the countries across the fields of economics, trade, investment, culture and education.

The VN-UK Network meeting was attended by Ben Chapman – Chairman, Paul Smith – Vice Chairman, David Priestley – Executive Committee, Matt Jackson – KPMG, James Kenny – Arup, Julian Adams – Prudential, Son Thanh – Vietnamese Association UK.

David Priestley told the DPM that the Network would be better able to support initiatives between the Vietnam and UK government if more information was shared.

The DPM agreed and proposed that a mechanism be put in place for information sharing.
