A new chapter in Vietnam–UK relations

The Vietnam-UK Network warmly welcomes the official visit of H.E. the General Secretary Mr. Tô Lâm to the United Kingdom (28–30 October 2025) and the signing of the Joint Declaration on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our two nations.

This historic upgrade reflects the growing depth and breadth of cooperation across diplomacy, trade, security, climate action, education, science, innovation and people-to-people exchange.

During his visit, the General Secretary held talks and meetings with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and key UK counterparts reaffirming shared commitments to:
🌿 Accelerate green growth and sustainable development
📈 Expand bilateral trade and investment
🎓 Strengthen education and innovation partnerships
🌍 Enhance regional and global cooperation for peace and prosperity

As a bridge between our two countries, the Vietnam-UK Network is proud to support this new era of collaboration — building connections, fostering dialogue, and promoting mutual understanding across all sectors of society.

We look forward to working with partners in both countries to turn this strategic vision into tangible opportunities for our communities.
