Gala Charity Concert Press Coverage

The Vietnam-UK Network’s Drinks Reception and Gala Charity Concert at the Royal College of Music on Thursday 7 September 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-UK’s diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Vietnam-UK Network attracted a great amount of attention from the press which hailed the event as unique culture event highlighting the breath of the Vietnam-UK relations over the years. The contribution by the Vietnam-UK Network and the work by its team and founders were also featured by the news upon the Network’s 10th anniversary and the concert event.

The concert event also received unreserved support from the Vietnam’s Embassy in London and the British Embassy in Hanoi.

His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Iain Frew, said, “It will be a tremendous occasion to mark a tremendous milestone, further strengthening relations between the UK and Viet Nam.”

Chief Organiser of the Gala Concert and Vice-Chair of the Vietnam-UK Network, Bao Ha Pham, said, “It’s been an honour to work with such an amazingly talented line-up to put together this concert. It’s going to be a great evening and a great way to mark a major milestone for the Vietnam-UK Network.”

Internationally renowned concert pianist, Tra Nguyen, said, “As a British-Vietnamese artist, I am delighted to be able to support the evening alongside an incredible array of really talented musicians.”
