Vietnam-UK Network meeting with Vietnam-UK Friendship Association

On 31 March the Vietnam-UK Network (VUKN) the Chairman Warwick Morris with Vice-Chair Bao Ha Pham held a round-table meeting in the City of London with several senior Vietnamese delegates and organisations. NashTech CEO Nick Lonsdale kindly hosted and attended. Especially welcome were Hoang Quoc Vuong, Chairman of the Vietnam-UK Friendship Association (VUFA), with Vice Chair Hoang Le Thuy Duong.  The two sides reported on initiatives carried out by VUKN and VUFA to promote the Vietnam-UK relations in recent years, discussed plans for future cooperation, and agreed to renew their MOU to continue underpinning the objectives of the two governments.

Also taking part were senior figures from PetroVietnam, Shinec Joint Stock Company – who have joined the Network’s list of sponsors, the Embassy of Vietnam and two recently established UK-based groups: the Vietnam Business Association in the UK (VBUK) and the Vietnam Intellectual Society in the UK (VIS). The VUKN welcomed and looks forward to collaborating more closely with the Vietnam Embassy, Shinec, PetroVietnam, VBUK and VIS in the future.
