Vietnam Disaster Appeal — Urgent Help Needed
In the past few weeks, several powerful typhoons – Typhoons Bualoi, Matmo, Kajiki and others – have wreaked havoc across the North and Central Vietnam. Entire towns and villages across a number of provinces, including Hà Tĩnh, Nghệ An, Thanh Hóa, Quảng Trị, Cao Bằng, Lạng Sơn, Thái Nguyên, Bắc Ninh and Lào Cai, have been severely flooded or damaged. Infrastructure is failing, and thousands of families are left without shelter or basic necessities.
Today the Vietnam-UK Network has successfully made a donation of £1,000 to support the victims of the recent typhoons. We are now launching this appeal to raise further emergency funds for those who have been hit hardest.
